Beginning LSAT Test Preparation Books

The reality is that almost all commercial LSAT prep books are for beginners. They often provide an excellent introduction. But, they should never be used as your sole source of LSAT prep. At an absolute minimum, you should supplement them with actual LSAT tests.

You should NOT try to read all of these books. You will find that they contain information that contradict each other. You will notice that some of these books are associated with commercial prep courses. A possible suggestion might be to the book, published by the course that you do NOT take. This approach would give you a wider perspective.

Most of these books have not had a “significant reworking” for some years (although a complete rewrite of Richardson – “Mastering The LSAT” is coming out this year). These tend to be “one size fits all” books that cover all sections of the test.
