The name of the game is to get into law school. Researching law schools is a full-time job. Law Services has recently made this job easier.

U.S. Law School Applicants

U.S. applicants should be research ABA (American Bar Association) approved law schools.

Canadian Law School Applicants

Canadian applicants should decide whether they are looking for common law schools or civil law schools.

There are many joint programs that may be of interest to you. For example both McGill and the University of Ottawa have joint law degree programs that will allow you to earn both civil and common law degrees in three years.

Four Canadian law schools have joint U.S./Canada law degrees.
